Korea Night this year was a blast! This was the first one that we’ve ever been to, and hopefully it won’t be the last! Truthfully, we didn’t get to experience everything that Korea Night had to offer, such as the food or vendors we saw outside the stadium, but that’s because we were in a rush to get to the Press Conference before it started!

Seeing Hyun Jin Ryu  and Chan Ho Park together up close was pretty cool. That was our first time at a sports press conference, and boy, was it crowded! Flashbulbs kept going off as soon as Ryu stepped into the room. They looked like they enjoyed answering questions from the various media outlets, and we could tell Ryu was pumped for the game!

The highlight for us though, of course, was the fact that Yonghwa from CN Blue was going to take to the field before the game and sing the Korean national anthem! As we made our way to the field, we couldn’t believe how large it was! Looking out into the stands from the field is quite an experience, and we could see that Yonghwa might have been a little nervous. We managed to chat with him a little bit before he stepped onto the field to sing. Of course, his voice was amazing and his fans were cheering loudly, so he had nothing to worry about! Can’t wait to see him perform again at KCON 2014!

After Yonghwa performed, it was Ali’s turn! Ali is a popular Kpop staple, who made herself known through competing in the Korean singing show, “Immortal Song”. Her rendition of the Star Spangled Banner was awesome! Stay tuned for a short interview we did with her after she sang!
