#IdentityLA2017 Annual Festival Happening Tomorrow feat. Dean!

Tomorrow, Saturday May 6th (rain or shine!), the 2nd Annual Identity LA Music Festival, aka the “Asian Coachella” will take place at Grand Park in Downtown LA from 5PM-10PM to help celebrate Asian Pacific Heritage Month!

The music part of the festival will feature artists like Us the Duo, Year of the Ox, and will be headlined by Korean artist Dean! Did we mention that this festival is free? That’s right! First come, first served! And there will also be an awards ceremony honoring leaders and influencers in the Asian American community, including the cast and crew of Justin Chon’s film, “Gook” and Jenn Im. As well as great music, the fest will be featuring lots of food trucks to taste while attending the festival! Hosts for the evening include Wong Fu Productions, Far East Movement, Brooklyn Shanti and more! Here’s the official Facebook event page for more info!

The sponsors for the event include ISATV, Comcast NBC Universal, Council Member David Ryu and KOCCA! KOCCA (Korea Creative Content Agency) helps introduce Korean content and businesses to the United States. Remember that article we wrote about the habits of American Kdrama and Kpop fans? That info came from a survey conducted by their U.S. offices, and through this festival and future projects, we can’t wait to see what KOCCA does next!

Enjoy the festivities tomorrow!
