This year was the first time we were able to attend the ultimate gaming/entertainment expo, E3! What can we say about it other than it was awesome? We do enjoy gaming quite a bit on our Xbox 360, Wii and Nintendo DS’s (as well as the occasional online RPG), so when we took our first steps onto the trade floor of the biggest gaming expo we’ve ever seen, we were stunned! The various booths and stages were strikingly decorated, with some boasting full scale models and cosplayers ready to welcome guests as they inspected the games on display. What were some of our favorite areas? We really enjoyed testing out the new Guitar Hero Live since it was so interactive and dramatic! Instead of just a standard, straight-forward test, gamers were thrust “on-stage” as they played through a song for the crowd, complete with a good old fashioned post-gig “crowd surfing”! We also loved the large-scale models scattered around the showrooms, and the “Old School” Arcade that was nestled towards the back! But, enough of our jabbering!
